It looks like play. It's how they learn.

In the early years, play isn't a break from learning — it's the main event.

Here's what we know as educators: for little ones, play is the learning. When your child stacks a tower, invents a story, waits for a turn, or digs in the garden, they're building language, focus, problem-solving, and the social-emotional skills everything else stands on. Our mornings look like play because that's exactly how young brains are wired to grow — we just design that play with intention, and we know what to look for underneath it.

Designed, not just supervisedEvery station targets real skills — fine motor, language, regulation, and social give-and-take.
Led by an educator's eyeWe notice what's emerging in your child and gently stretch it — the difference between minding kids and growing them.
Backed by the expertsThe American Academy of Pediatrics and NAEYC both recognize play as essential to how young children learn and develop.

The Morning

9:30 – 12:30
9:30–9:55
Soft Landing
Arrive and settle into child-led play — puzzles, blocks, the cozy nook — for an unrushed goodbye. Eases separation; the morning starts feeling safe.
9:55–10:15
Morning Round-Up
Friends gather for a story, greetings, weather, and the calendar — our daily anchor. Builds language, listening, and belonging.
10:15–10:45
Move & Groove
Foam-pit dives, movement games, and a gross-motor challenge — wiggles out first. Sensory regulation and big-body coordination.
10:45–11:20
Creative Hands-On
Process art, sensory bins, and building — the good kind of mess. Fine motor, focus, and self-expression.
11:20–11:40
Snack
A calm break to refuel and practice the table together. Independence and social habits.
11:40–12:15
Turf & Outdoors
Parachute games, an obstacle course, bubbles-and-chase, or watering the garden. Fresh air and real running-around.
12:15–12:30
Wind-Down + Closing Circle Recap
A calming story, a regulation reset, and a door-side recap — one proud moment from your child's morning. Where growth gets named.

Why this rhythm works

the "why"
Predictable
Same beats, every morning
A consistent order lets little ones relax and self-regulate — they know what's next, so they can be brave in between.
Balanced
Big-body ↔ focused
We alternate movement and calm, hands-on and social — matched to how young attention actually works.
Screen-free
All intentional
No screens, ever. Every station is chosen to build a real skill — and it just looks like play.
Outdoors
Turf & garden daily
Real fresh air and running-around every morning — the part today's kids get too little of.
Named
One proud moment
At pickup, we give you one specific sentence about your child's morning — growth you can actually see.

Why parents love it: it's what today's families look for and rarely find in one place — no screens, all intentional, real outdoor and big-body time, and a predictable rhythm that helps little ones self-regulate, with calm bookends so the morning starts and ends gently. The payoff: a child who's more independent, more social, and proud of themselves — plus one specific sentence about their morning at pickup.

What your child gets

While you're working in the loft or out running your life, your little one is discovering, building independence, and learning to be part of a group — with real educators, not a sitter.

What makes us different

A workspace, not a waiting room.

This is the part no daycare or playground offers. While your child plays and learns with real educators, you get a calm, sunlit loft that's genuinely yours — whether you work remotely, run your own business, or just need a focused hour to yourself.

  • Get real work done. Fast WiFi, coffee, a fridge, and a real work table under the skylights — take a call, deep-work, clear the to-do list.
  • Close by for peace of mind. You're right here if you're ever needed, so independence never means far away.
  • Reclaim your time. Or drop off and go — a meeting, the gym, errands, an actual lunch. Your call.
  • Never all-or-nothing. Not a full daycare day, not hovering at a play café. You choose what your morning looks like, every single time.

Work on-site or drop off and go — switch it up any morning that suits you.

"As a consultant, finding childcare that fit my schedule was impossible — two hours of work used to drag across six. Clubhouse Mornings changed everything: I can actually have a career and be supported."

Clubhouse Parent · Phoenixville, PA

While they play, your morning is yours.

Your child always plays independently with our educators. You choose what your morning looks like for you — and you can choose differently any day.

Head to the loft
WiFi, coffee, quiet. Work, read, answer email, or just breathe — close by, but finally focused.
Drop off & go
Gym, errands, appointments, deep work elsewhere. For children who are fully bathroom independent.
Drop-off & loft details — potty independence, who can use the loft

Drop-off is for children who are fully bathroom independent (beyond verbal reminders). If your child isn't there yet, you're welcome to cowork on-site in the loft so you're close by. The loft is reserved for parents of enrolled children on that morning — we can't host outside guests or non-enrolled visitors, so the space stays calm for the families using it.

We start at age 2. Clubhouse Mornings are for children 2 through 5 years old — we don't enroll children under 2. If your little one isn't quite 2 yet, email nweirich@theclubhousewc.com and we'll let you know when they're ready for us. Older than 5? Reach out too — every kid is different and we'd love to chat.

What families are saying

"The Clubhouse is the absolute best. Having a chance to catch up on the to-do list while my son is happily playing — that peace of mind that he's happy and safe while I'm easing my own stress is the greatest gift."

Clubhouse Parent — Phoenixville, PA

"We wanted to support our daughter's independence, but didn't want to just drop her somewhere. This is that perfect in-between. Some mornings I drop off, other mornings I head to the loft and work. The flexibility is everything."

Mixed ages, on purpose — 2 to 5 years

Our youngest friends join at age 2 — we don't enroll children under 2. From there we keep groups small and mixed in age, because that's when the best social learning happens. Younger children stretch toward the big kids; older children practice patience, leadership, and empathy. Everyone grows.

For the little ones 2–3 yrs

Starting at age 2. A gentle pace with lots of sensory and big-body play, plus older buddies to learn from and look up to. For our youngest — and any child not yet bathroom independent — a parent stays present on-site in the adult loft.

For the bigger kids 3 yrs +

Drop-off eligible for bathroom-independent kids, with the confidence boost of being a helper and mentor — and the runway into preschool and kindergarten.

Memberships are month-to-month and auto-renew, with 30 days' notice to change or cancel — no long contract.

Built by a mom who needed this too

Nicole Weirich started The Clubhouse Phoenixville because she kept looking for a place that didn't exist. Not a daycare. Not a play café. Something more intentional — where her kids could be known and challenged by real educators, and where she could feel like a whole person at the same time. She brought 13+ years in education — bilingual special educator, then coordinator, then compliance — plus a Master's in School Psychology, to build the thing she wished someone had built for her.

"I built this for the parent sitting in the pickup line wondering when it's their turn. It's your turn."

Questions? We've got you.

Clubhouse Mornings are for children ages 2 through 5we don't enroll children under 2. Kids learn together across ages in small, mixed-age groups, because that's where a lot of the best social growth happens. For drop-off, your child also needs to be fully bathroom independent; our youngest ones join with a parent on-site in the loft. Just about to turn 2, or older than 5? Email us — every kid is different and we'd love to chat.

We don't — age 2 is our minimum. The whole morning is built around group routines, hands-on stations, and the kind of turn-taking and independence that really clicks at 2 and up. If you have a little one approaching their second birthday, email nweirich@theclubhousewc.com and we'll let you know when they're old enough to join us.

Clubhouse Mornings run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 to 12:30. You pick 1, 2, or 3 of those mornings a week as your membership — or drop in for a single morning when there's space.

Not yet — we're filling Monday, Wednesday, and Friday first, so each morning has a full, familiar group of friends. Tuesday and Thursday open next, once those three fill up. If Tues/Thurs is what your family really needs, say so in the inquiry form — that's exactly how we decide when to add them, and you'll be first to hear.

It's one simple membership — you pick your mornings. Choose 1 ($300/mo), 2 ($550/mo), or 3 ($765/mo) mornings a week. Every added morning lowers your per-morning rate, and you can add more anytime. It's month-to-month with 30 days' notice to change or cancel — no long contract and no big packages to buy up front.

Yes — drop-ins are $75 a morning, anytime there's an open spot. Come once to try us out, or use them ongoing for the mornings that fit your week — no membership required. The one difference: members hold a guaranteed standing spot, while drop-ins depend on space, so busy weeks can fill up. If you find yourself dropping in regularly, a membership locks your spot and drops your rate to as low as $59 a morning. Book a drop-in here.

Yes — that's the whole idea. Start with one morning and add more whenever you're ready; each added morning lowers your per-morning rate. Since it's month-to-month, you can adjust with 30 days' notice as your family's needs change (and as new days open up).

Just fill out the quick form above (or email nweirich@theclubhousewc.com) with your child's name and age. We'll follow up to answer questions and set up a visit — and if it's a good fit, we'll get their spot set up. No commitment to reach out. We keep our mornings small, so earlier is better.

For drop-off, yes — your child needs to be fully bathroom independent (beyond verbal reminders). If your child isn't there yet, no problem: you'll cowork on-site in the parent loft so you're close by for bathroom help, and your child still joins the group independently.

Your choice — and you can choose differently every visit. Drop off and go run your life, or head to our adult loft to work with WiFi, coffee, and quiet. Either way, your child plays independently with our educators. Drop-off is for children who are fully bathroom independent; if your child isn't there yet, you'll stay on-site in the loft.

Clubhouse Mornings is a part-time enrichment program, not a full-day placement. Think of it as the best parts of preschool without the full-time commitment: three-hour mornings, one to three days a week, month-to-month. Groups are small, routines are consistent, and every activity is designed with intention by an educator. And unlike anywhere else, you can stay on-site and work in the loft while your child plays. Your child is known here — not just watched.

A snack and a labeled water bottle for every morning. We have a fridge on-site and handle everything else — activities, supplies, and a whole lot of fun.

24 hours notice to reschedule a drop-in. Memberships auto-renew monthly with 30 days written notice to change or cancel. No partial-month refunds. Life with little ones — we get it.
