What is Summer Camp at The Clubhouse like?

Think: camp that feels exciting for kids and reassuring for parents.

  • Small-group, instructor-led days with a clear rhythm and plenty of play
  • Indoor foam pit and turf time for big movement and gross-motor fun
  • Daily crafts and creative projects kids are proud to bring home
  • Outdoor space for movement, lunch, garden play, and messy fun
  • Theme-based activities that keep each week fresh and engaging

Our goal is simple: kids go home tired-in-a-good-way, proud of themselves, and excited to come back.

What a day at camp looks like

Each day follows a predictable rhythm so kids feel safe, while activities and themes keep things exciting.

Block 1
Welcome & warm-up
Arrival, check-in, and get-to-know-you icebreakers or quick games to ease in.
Block 2
Move, explore & outdoors
Foam pit and turf time, plus outdoor movement games and garden play when weather allows.
Block 3
Lunch, create & connect
Lunch break, then theme-based crafts, building, or challenges — and a group wrap-up before dismissal at 2:30 PM.

Makers, Crafts & Garden Week
Hands-on crafts, nature-inspired projects, and garden time in our outdoor space.

Who is summer camp for?

A great fit for kids who:

  • Enjoy active play, crafts, and trying new things
  • Benefit from structure but don’t love chaotic environments
  • Are building confidence, flexibility, and social skills
  • Do well in small-group, instructor-led spaces

If you’re not sure whether a specific week or setup is the right fit, reach out — we’re happy to talk it through.

What should my child bring?

  • Water bottle labeled with their name
  • Packed lunch & snacks (nut-safe, if applicable for your group)
  • Comfortable clothes and shoes for active, indoor + outdoor play
  • Any important information we should know (sensitivities, supports, etc.)

We’ll confirm any additional details for your child’s specific camp week in your registration and confirmation emails.

New to The Clubhouse?

Many families get started with our School-Closure Days before summer. It’s a great way for kids to:

  • Get comfortable with our space and staff
  • Practice drop-off in a shorter format
  • Walk into summer already feeling confident and excited
