We built the place we wished existed for our own kids.
Four kids. Over thirteen years as a bilingual special educator. One big question: why isn’t there a space where kids can build confidence, creativity, and real friendships — through play that actually means something? So we made one.

How The Clubhouse Started
Nicole spent over 13 years working with kids in schools as a bilingual special educator, then earned her M.S. in School Psychology. She kept seeing the same thing: kids who were great but needed something more than what was out there. Not therapy. Not another structured activity with performance pressure. Just a calm, welcoming space where kids could play together, build real friendships, and practice being themselves.
At home, she and Alex — a dad of four and longtime youth coach — were having the same conversations. Their own kids thrived when they had small-group play with structure and encouragement. They wanted that for every family in the area.
So in August 2025, they opened The Clubhouse in Phoenixville, PA. An enrichment space designed by a certified educator and a coach, built for families who want more than a bounce house but less than a clinical setting. A place where kids walk in excited and walk out proud of themselves — and parents finally get a real break.
Today, The Clubhouse offers Clubhouse Mornings for infants–age 5, Kids Club drop-in play for ages 4–12, themed summer camps, birthday parties, school-closure day programming, teen nights, and creative workshops for adults — serving families from Phoenixville, King of Prussia, Valley Forge, Collegeville, and the Main Line.
“No one — at any age — should have to wait for an invitation to a play date. That’s why we exist.”
— Nicole Weirich, Co-Founder
What Makes Us Different
Meet Nicole & Alex
Nicole is a bilingual (Spanish/English) special educator, mom of four, and holds an M.S. in School Psychology. After more than 13 years working with kids and families in schools, she kept seeing the same gap: kids who were great but needed something different — not therapy, not another high-pressure activity, just a calm space to play, connect, and grow at their own pace.
She designed every program at The Clubhouse around one belief: kids build confidence, social skills, and real friendships best when they’re playing — not performing. That means small groups, predictable structure, and activities rooted in how children actually develop — socially, emotionally, and creatively.
Her background isn’t just professional — it’s personal. As a mom navigating the same world you are, juggling four kids, school pickups, and the constant question of “is my child okay?” — she built The Clubhouse to be the place she wished existed for her own family. When you walk in, you’re meeting someone who truly gets it.
Known as “Coach Alex” to kids all over Phoenixville, Alex has spent years on soccer fields, ice rinks, and sidelines helping kids find their confidence, learn teamwork, and discover what they’re capable of. He’s deeply involved in the local sports community — coaching recreational and travel soccer, ice hockey, and serving on boards for local youth sports programs.
At The Clubhouse, Alex brings that same steady, encouraging energy to everything he does. Whether it’s setting up the turf for a relay race, building something new for the space, or sitting on the floor playing a board game with a kid who needed a win — he shows up. Every day.
While his professional background is in construction and utilities, coaching has always been his calling. Alex believes kids grow best when they feel like someone is in their corner — and that’s exactly what he gives every family who walks through the door.
